Stella!!

There weren't any streetcars, even though it was an old brick street, and I wasn't yelling it with the same amount of passion as Marlon Brando, but I did say Stella quite a bit for this session.  My version of yelling "Stella" included squeaky toys and making funny sounds, but hey, whatever works to get some doggy eye contact.  This Stella definitely has star quality!

Studio will be set up with a chalkboard background to use as you want!  You could do Christmas...

Or why not have a photo session where it is kid themed "resolutions" (or reminders) for things like:
- eat all my beans
- be nice to my sister
- get my homework done before TV
- share my toys
(you can come up with anything that would work for you kiddo)

Here are some examples:

For your mini session you will have the option to write directly on the chalkboard, or for a little extra per photo I will put text on the photo to personalize.

If you want to use your mini session with the chalkboard in another way, just let me know ahead of time.  The chalkboard is 4 ft high, so there are some height limitations.

A Little Snow, A Little Cold

I guess it is pretty obvious that if it is snowing it must be kind of chilly outside, but I seriously think it is worth it if you get some great snow photos!  This family was brave enough for some cold morning photos and we actually had some snowflakes, even though it was early October.  We ended up with some snow photos AND some great fall color photos - the best of both!  Yep it was cold, and the little miss wasn't very happy about it, but we made it work and got some smiles (a big thanks to iPhone music and Elmo!).  Also, I may need to invest in some of those chemical hand warmer things because I like these snow shots and want to do more of them!

Belly to Baby

It's always fun to see repeat friends and clients, and a couple of the best ways are when I take maternity and then newborn photos, or I see babies during their first year (yes, of course, I offer packages for both of these options! ) .  I've had a couple of people who have done the maternity/newborn package and then started the Watch Me Grow package which is even more fun because I get to be a little part of that entire first year that flies by so fast!  Hopefully after that first year I will still see them once a year for family photos :)

My next goal: wedding photos -> family photos -> maternity -> newborn -> first year -> family

Who's going to be the winner repeat client of that one?!  I may just give you an extra prize!

Tess

Tess is a ridiculously sweet long haired mini dachshund available for adoption!  AND she is a dead ringer for my little doxie, so I think Tess is a little bit cuter then your average dog :)
