Winter Engagement

This adorable couple had engagement photos on a super cold day, but if they were willing to brave it then I was happy to make the most of a winter photo session!  After all, not many people will willingly hang out in that kind of weather without a coat to "get the shot".  I'm still amazed there were no runny noses, well except for mine.  ;)

Luckily their wedding day will be a bit warmer and I can't wait!!

Winter Engagement Photos

January is the deep freeze month for Minnesota, so for a recent engagement session we did some inside first and got some fun chalkboard time in.  Then it was off into the cold for a few quick photos.  You wouldn't know it was a teeth-chattering day by the way this cute couple pulled it off!

 

Holiday/Winter Mini Sessions

Christmas is right around the corner!  I realized I should probably post some photos from the holiday/winter mini sessions that were held in my studio so I don't look too far behind.  If I post them after the holidays people will wonder if I am really on top of things - thank goodness for to-do lists!!
I did post one of the holiday/winter mini sessions a week or so ago.  If you missed it you can find it here, and check out some sweet rats.  After that session I told my husband that I was surprised how nice the rats were and that they were cute!  He immediately told me, "Kirsten, you are not getting a rat."  I never said I wanted to get one, but funny how his mind went there :)
 
So if you need a break from all that cookie baking, and present wrapping, you can always look through my photos and relax a little.  Put your feet up and enjoy one of those fresh cookies!

Not sure what's going on behind me, but two brothers found it wildly entertaining, while the littlest isn't quite sure what to make of it.

Winter/Christmas Studio Mini Sessions

What:

A 20 minute mini session for $40 (plus tax)

Up to 10 digital images on a CD with a print release

Access to an on-line gallery for photo orders

When:

Dec 5-9th, 6pm (1 session available per evening - time can be adjusted)

             Dec 10th, 1pm-430pm (on the half hour)

Where:

My in-home studio in Elk River, MN

Why:

Last minute Christmas cards, Thank-You card photos, 

because they are cute, gifts, lots of other 

           reasons

If you need these photos for a Christmas gift or card, let me know and I will do a quick turn-around to get you them within a couple of days.

These photo sessions are geared towards kids and dogs.  Personal items are welcome - like your child's Christmas stocking, or a present you will let them open, etc.

There are two set-ups to choose from.  The first is a "Winter" set-up (grey background), the second is a "Christmas" set-up (white background). Please specify your choice when booking.  One set-up per photo session.
